i need help with this im going to start sobbing and I really need someone to talk to out loud that also has ocd , these thoughts im dealing with right now are having me panicking too much ,please I really need someone to talk to even through text
Hey! I know it can be overwhelming when your thoughts don’t reflect your morals. That’s exactly how you pin point an OCD thought, when it doesn’t reflect your values and morals and makes you feel icky. Think of your mind like a garden. Sometimes you get some weeds in your garden, but it’s not your fault. Just pull em out and chuck em and focus on the flowers!
@Ocdbaddiee Thank you thinking about it this way is helpful, im currently getting intrusive thoughts about afterlife things which is making me feel worse 😔 but i’ll really try to think about it like this
I love the garden visual. Another thing that has helped me is to think about what you know is true. Those thoughts bother you because they go against your values, true. You don’t want to think this way, true. Everyone gets intrusive thoughts now and then, true. Letting the intrusive thought come and go will lessen the strength of OCD, true. I hope this also helps.
if any responds to this, it would save my night. Just knowing there is someone there who understands. This past week my ocd has been worse than usually. My harm ocd is so terrible, violent thoughts and images fill my head and I can’t make it stop and the thoughts constantly are centered toward my family members. It’s so terrible I just feel like crying and I’m so heavy and empty inside. Does anyone else understand? Know what it’s like. All this fear and doubt. Are these my own thoughts? Why am I having these? Am I a psychopath? Do I want to do these things? And so on. I just want to scream. I’m so so scared and I feel sick to my stomach and I don’t want to be anywhere near my family right now. Help me please
im having a big big panic attack right now and i cant even calm down. i get extreme anxiety when i know that someone is irritated at me . my ocd thoughts are going crazy. im not peaceful to be around . all i cause is irritation. please someone help . i cant stop crying
Can anyone please confort me? I'm having a really bad panic attack, I can't stop crying and I feel like im losing my mind from the fear. I feel like maybe I should just go to the hospital because it feels so real
